DB-17-04-06 Driver Database Update Bookmark

WARNING! -- UIU Classic users only! --

UIU Classic product v4.9.6.0 (or newer) is required to utilize UIU Driver Database versions newer than DB-17-01-26!

Driver DB Amendments:

Customer-requested drivers since March 2017 release.

Issue: Tangent Medix Button Manager

Symptoms:
Button Manager unsupported on Tangent Medix machines.

Resolution:
Added support for ACPI BIOS Simulator device.



Issue: Windows 10 x64 trackpad driver

Symptoms:
Right and left trackpad buttons inoperable in Win10x64 on HP EliteBook 840 and similar models.

Resolution:
Added updated driver to support trackpad buttons in Windows 10.



Issue: Dell Control Vault

Symptoms:
Appropriate driver fails to stage on Dell machines with Control Vault devices running x86 operating systems.

Resolution:
Misconfigured driver corrected for all supported operating systems.



Issue: Black screen with active mouse cursor

Symptoms:
Windows loads with a black screen and an active cursor on Dell Latitude E7450 and similar models.

Resolution:
Incompatible nVidia driver incorrectly selected. Misconfigured driver corrected for all supported operating systems.



Reminder:

The full driver database exceeds 14Gb in size (14.6 Gb). Please follow the guidelines below for optimal performance. This database release still covers Windows 7 through Windows 10 (32/64bit).



USB Flash drives need to be formatted with the NTFS file system before the driver database will successfully transfer. Network share access is recommended.

The Big Bang Support Team would like to remind our customers to please clear out any drivers represented in the Custom folder(s) prior to testing with a new version of the UIU Driver Database as neglecting to do so may result in false negative installations.  Please contact a Support Representative with questions or concerns.
